Joe Rizzo | about Joe

I was born and grew up in Rome, N.Y., a small city in upstate New York. I have many fond memories as a child playing outdoors with neighborhood friends. As a child I played various sports including soccer and boxing. My favorite sport as a child was soccer which I played from 1st grade through 12th and sometime after.

Although I was somewhat a mischievous child, I was a straight A student throughout my elementary, junior high and high school years. I attended high school at Rome Free Academy and was captain of the soccer school team.

I took up an interest in guitar and music in my latter years of high school.

After high school, I briefly attended West Point Military Academy. I obtained an Associates Degree from Mohawk Community College and later a bachelors degree from S.U.N.Y. Albany college. Throughout my college years I played in guitar and sang in various music groups . After graduating from college , I spent almost a year working in London and traveling through Europe. I worked at San Francisco State University as an Information Technology Consultant for 12 years. Presently, I reside in Berkeley, California and run Cosmic Circuit Studio. Currently, my interests are playing, writing, and recording music. I also enjoy traveling, bicycling, philosophy, video, multimedia and camping.
