Tangled in Hollywood
 
Attended the 4 day Taxi music road rally for singer/songwriters in Hollywood, California. Performed one of my original songs Tangled in the Barbwire on the main ballroom stage Friday night to positive reviews.  Met a lot of really cool people and also had fun at the late night impromptu jam sessions.  Robbie Robertson, singer songwriter from The Band, gave an insightful talk discussing his career and his work with Bob Dylan and director Martin Scorsese. Dave Stewart was also on one of the songwriter panels.
 
 
Caught a live recording of the Jimmy Kimmel show with Julia Louis Dreyfus (famous for her role as Elaine on Seinfeld) and musical guest - the energetic young English woman rap artist Lady Sovereign.  Lady Sovereign really rocked the house with
cuts from her new ‘Public Warning’ CD.  This woman has a bright future ahead of her.  
 
Out on the street there was a big commotion and we found out Snoop Dogg was shooting his new video at the corner Hollywood Boulevard.   His entourage rolled in with some seriously pimped out cars.

Actress Annette Bening, wife of actor Warren Beatty, had her star laid in the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.
 
There was another huge crowd of people gathered to see the stars walk the red carpet for the premiere  film showing of Darren Aronofsky’s The Fountain at Grauman’s Chinese theatre.  
Rachel Weisz, Andy Dick, Tyra Banks, Hugh Jackman & Faye Dunaway showed up for the premiere as hundreds of camera flashes lit the night and star struck fans yelled for a picture.
